You’ve heard that kids who eat at home with their families are more likely to try new foods and on average consume more nutrient-rich foods like low-fat dairy, vegetables, fruits and lean meats. In addition to nutritional benefits, family dining has other benefits like reducing stress and improving communication within the family.
