After a long day at work, or an especially busy weekend, starting a meal might be the last thing on your mind.  When such a day happens, recipes with 3 to 5 ingredients are the perfect solution.  Here is a 3 ingredient meal that can be whipped up with very little effort. You might even have all of these ingredients on hand without making a trip to the store ( who doesn’t love that!). Bonus, this meal can be ready in as little as 30 mins.

Sweet and Sour Pork Chops

– 1/3 cup mustard, or enough to make a sauce

– 1/3 cup brown sugar

– 6 pork chops

1. Add brown sugar and mustard to a bowl, mix together until well blended. You can make them sweeter or more sour by adjusting the amount of either ingredient.

2. Place pork chops in a single layer in a baking dish and cover with the brown sugar/mustard sauce. Do not add any additional water to the pan.

3. Bake at 350 degrees F until done (check them at about 25 minutes). Use a meat thermometer to test their doneness. Remember pork chops only need to be cooked to 145 degrees F!

4. Drizzle some sauce (aka delicious goodness) over your chops when served.

5. Serve with your favorite healthy sides such as corn on the cob or steamed broccoli – enjoy!
